WHAT DOES WORKING AT HEIGHTS MEAN?
Working at heights is defined as any work space that is vertically above or adjacent lower from ground level where a worker could be exposed to risk of injury from a fall. (April 6th 2005 Working at Heights Regulations/England.)
Working at heights lower limits differ from country to country. In Europeit is 1.80m while in USA it is 1.20m.
In our country and around the world, deaths connected to industrial accidents which occur by falling from a high working place come after the deaths connected to motor vehicle accidents in placement.
